Appeal to our supporters 2020

This summer will be the Museum’s 7th anniversary on 15th June 2020. The Museum is still much needed, as the future remains uncertain for Palestinians in Palestine and in the diaspora.

Our volunteers continue to engage with our visitors, develop the displays and run a range of events.  In Covid-19 times, we are seeking new ways to operate e.g. Zaytoun home deliveries, email updates to our supporters, developing our website, as we cannot engage in person.

We need your help to continue to do this.

Since our last appeal in 2016 we have welcomed many speakers / performers, screened documentary films, hosted bespoke exhibitions / artwork and built an annual partnership with the Bristol Palestine Film Festival.

Since 2016 we have welcomed more than 12,000 visitors and held over 86 events for the public and our volunteers. Palestinian products remain popular: we expanded our range of craft products; continue to sell the popular Zaytoun range, as well as promotional T-shirts, mugs and umbrellas.  We are developing our display (refurbishing existing displays, creating new boards, and displaying new artefacts) and have improved access and insulation to the Museum floor space.

Contributions however small are much appreciated.

Target for fundraising: £ 3,000

Thank you. In peace and solidarity from all at the Palestine Museum, Bristol
